Yvon Le Men est l'un des meilleurs poètes contemporains de Bretagne et assurément le plus connu. En plus de 40 ans, il a écrit des centaines de poèmes publiés chez les plus grands éditeurs. Depuis toujours il les dit avec talent sur scène réunissant autour de lui parfois des centaines d'auditeurs venus l'écouter avec bonheur. Pour la première fois, grâce à Hélène Weissenbacher, ses poèmes sont mis en musique. Séduite par la force et la grâce de ses mots, elle a décidé de les envelopper dans un écrin de mélodies, portée par une grande expérience de musicienne qui l'a menée du Conservatoire à l'accompagnement de la chanteuse Enzo Enzo. Ils renouent ainsi tous les deux avec l'ancestrale tradition des poètes-troubadours qui s'entouraient de musiciens. De cette rencontre est né ce disque.
